Can Two Story Homes get an Alarm System Setup?
In the past, it was impossible for a multi-story homes to get alarms installed, because there was no attic to run the wires. Today, however, most home alarms are wireless, which means that it doesn’t matter how many stories the home is, the alarm system can be successfully installed.
Will my Pets Interfere with Alarm Motion Systems?
Most manufacturers have created security systems that include pet-friendly motion detectors; so pets under about 35 pounds won’t set off the alarm. It’s always a good idea to let your pet run in front of the motion detectors to make sure they aren’t detected, however.

Thanks for the Q&A. While I agree monitored home security systems offer a lot of benefits, not all systems and all monitoring centers are the same. Make sure to do research to find a company that delivers real security. Ask about their valid dispatch rate and get all the promises in written guarantee. Talk to local police to learn which companies they find to be most effective.
